Over six years ago, I received a voicemail message from my then four-year-old niece Olivia to tell me that my sister-in-law was pregnant. All she said on the voicemail was, “There’s a baby in the tummy. There’s a baby in the tummy.” My roommate Martha and I saved that message for weeks.
Well, now I have the same news to share.Β There’s a baby in MY tummy!
It still sounds so crazy to say out loud. Who, me? Pregnant? But now that I’m five months along, it’s becoming more and more real. I’ve fallen in love with elastic-waisted jeans. (Why didn’t anyone tell me about this wonderful invention before?) I’m also starting to feel the little bambino flutter inside. We’re going to wait to find out if we’re having a boy or girl… so for now, we pray for Baby H and watch the bump grow!
I can hardly wait to meet this little baby!
That does not count as a belly shot.
I agree with both Martha and Cari. Can’t wait to meet Baby H AND that is NOT a belly shot.
People… need to start small. This is the first announcement on the blog! There will be plenty of belly shots to come. I think I should be congratulated for putting up a bikini shot for all to see! Goodness gracious, sakes alive. π
I’ll give you credit for that shot. More than I was ever willing to give π And YAHOO! Congrats!
