I went on a whirlwind 24-hour trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan this week for meetings at Zondervan. (Yes, I got to meet other Bible nerds like me.) When I woke up, it was snowing! So, I joined the Japanese tourists outside the Holiday Inn to snap some pictures.
Now that I’ve been to Michigan (if you can say that staying the night in a hotel and sitting in a conference all day as “being in Michigan”) I only have 2 more states to go. Minnesota and Alaska. My friends and I have had plenty of debates on what the requirements are for checking off a state. A lay-over in an airport does not count. You have to at least get outside and breathe in that state’s air. I’m a bit foggy on North Dakota, Montana and Idaho… but with 6 drives cross country, I think I’ve got them covered. (Mom… Dad… can you back me up??)
You’re going to beat Zach! He’s only got two left to go as well. Maybe we can all get Alaska at the same time…cruise to Alaska anyone?
Ella es muy hermosa en la nieve. No nieva en mi país.
